The picturesque town of Collingwood on South Georgian Bay is the perfect destination for your vacation, whether you’re travelling with friends, family or your significant other. There is plenty to do in every season, including golfing, thrifting, skiing and dining at exceptional restaurants.
The right accommodations can turn your weekend getaway into a luxurious escape. At the end of the day, you want to come back to a place that feels like home, where you can recharge and unwind. Apartment-style hotel suites offer more space and flexibility than traditional hotel rooms, giving you that cozy “home away from home” vibe.
The VanderMarck Boutique Hotel, located in the heart of downtown Collingwood, features a range of charming apartment-style suites. And as the perfect complement, we’ve partnered with local businesses to offer a variety of Collingwood getaway packages, making it easy to plan an unforgettable trip that checks all the boxes.
Why Apartment-Style Suites Work So Well for a Collingwood Getaway
A traditional hotel room can feel restrictive and cramped, which isn’t ideal when you want some time to yourself. Apartment-style suites offer extra space, with separate sleeping and living areas. Their homey atmosphere gives you more room to relax with your favourite people, whether you’re staying for a weekend or longer.
Many suites also have a kitchen area, so you can enjoy breakfast in your pajamas, pack a lunch for day trips, and indulge in late-night snacks. Or grab carryout from a local restaurant and enjoy a sit-down meal in the comfort of your suite.
The VanderMarck offers studio, one- and two-bedroom suites to give groups and couples more flexibility and privacy. After a day packed with activities, you can enjoy some downtime in the living room or retreat to your private bedroom for a restful night’s sleep. The two-bedroom suite comes equipped with a washer and dryer, so you can pack lighter and rewear your favourites.
With its style, space and convenient layout, an apartment-style suite becomes part of the vacation experience instead of simply somewhere to crash at the end of the day.
Match Your Suite to the Right Getaway Package
The VanderMarck has several packages that help you customize your vacation experience without having to plan every detail. Whether you’re organizing a romantic getaway, a girls’ trip or an action-packed outing, there’s a package to complement your stay. Here are just a few of the packages we offer:
